The feminine essence is mysterious, subtle, deep, powerful, wise, unseen, the vital wombheart within every woman and within the spirit of the Earth. And yet every woman currently living within our male dominated civilisation lives in a world that increasingly murders, rapes and pollutes the beneficent beauty of our benevolent Earth Mother. This male dominated civilisation has invented an illusory male God, a male deity living somewhere upon a cloud in the heavens, far away and far removed from the feminine mystery of the Earth, far away from the womb. For a man who loves the womb is a man who cannot destroy the Earth. This patriarchal experiment of dominating and controlling the female essence of the Earth is cracking and crumbling, and the light of the long suppressed and long forgotten sacred feminine is beginning to shine through these tiny cracks that are appearing beneath the concrete layers of corruption, force, dishonesty and greed.
The sacred feminine offers a healing balm of completeness, wholeness, love. Her womb, like the womb of the Earth, miraculously and powerfully creates new life, for her womb, like the womb of the Earth, is the centre, heart, creative matrix of all life. Her essence, like the essence of the Earth, is bountiful, generous, beneficent, wise. And yet the purity, strength and sensitivity of this female essence has no place within the rampant hunting grounds of synthetic shopping malls and toxic wastelands of concrete skyscrapers that reach high into the sky, leaving the sacred womb of her beloved Earth Mother far below and far behind. This world of straight lines, hardness, coldness, cruelty and greed is not her place, for her natural place is the realm of circles and cycles that ebb and flow, always returning to their source, like the lunar tides of the sea. Her place is the realm of love, creativity and beauty. He place is the realm of the Earth.
As a civilisation we have strayed too far from our true nature as wise and loving custodians of this bountiful Earth, who so generously and wisely nurtures, sustains and supports us, every day, every moment, every hour. What kind of animal would murder, rape and destroy the very source that sustains and feeds it, that provides it with shelter, beauty, food? We are living at the end of a civilisation, at the end of an era, and as this civilisation nears its final conclusion, many people are experiencing instability, insecurity, anxiety and fear.
The forceful greed-filled ways that fuel this civilisation create anger, shame, doubt and sadness within the female psyche, for the oceanic depths of her sacred womb cannot be honoured, reached, given or received when she is living in a world that disrespects, represses and ignores her mystery, purpose, wildness, power and the integral wholeness, holiness and wisdom of her inherent cyclic nature and the inherent cyclic nature of the Earth. Woman is inwardly returning to her divine nature, to her innately sacred connection with the Earth, to the sacredness of her womb power. This journey is not easy, for it requires her to let go of many male aspects, thoughts and ideas she has absorbed into her female psyche as if they are essential facets of her true nature. She is releasing the need to strive, attain, force, achieve, for the profound depths of her inner mystery and the integral wisdom of her cyclic phases of pregnancy, birthing, mothering and menopause do not belong in the "super thin", "too sexy", "boutique", "instant", "get over it", "just saying", "cutting edge" realm of instant food, instant sex, instant gratification, that so selfishly denigrates, depletes and destroys.
Patriarchal civilisation has insidiously stolen the soul of the Earth and the soul of the sacred feminine, repressing and denying this intuitive and mysterious spirit, this gentle, powerful, wise female soul, beneath dense layers of plastic packaging, concrete pylons, polluted skies, dishonesty, domination and control. Deeply fearing the sacred womb power of the ancient feminine, our patriarchal world starves, whilst greedily feeding upon the denial of her divine nectar.
