Healing The Womb Revealing Her Mystery Part One
Written & Illustrated By Roslyne Sophia Breillat
She Who Weaves Baskets

The ancient mysteries and the fathomless wisdom of the womb are not lovingly perceived, respected or honoured within these turbulent times being lived upon the Earth right now, for a civilisation that does not revere life and love as sacred cannot honour this wise womb of the sacred feminine or this wise womb of our beneficent Earth Mother. And a world not lived within the loving essence of sacredness cannot perceive or love the Universal womb mystery that deeply and peacefully rests within every woman's body, this ancient portal of the sacred feminine that births all of life and all life forms. And within and beneath and beyond the shocking horrors of this outer world that dishonours our Earth Mother's womb wisdom, that murders our innocent babies and children and poisons our pristine life-giving waters, every woman is now called and challenged to live her life ever deeper from this formless essence of her womb's sacredness.

When a woman begins healing her womb, she is swimming upstream, swimming against the current of a world that treats her female lunar cycles of menstruation, lovemaking, pregnancy, birthing, mothering and menopause as unimportant intellectual linear concepts, whilst her body, her womb, her heart are longing for her innately natural reconnection with the sacredness of her beloved Earth. And as her womb begins to heal, she remembers the sacredness of the wise Elderwomen and their magical and mystical affinity with Earth Mother's sacred womb, she remembers the ancient wisdom of her plant medicine, she remembers her profound sexual healing, she simply remembers what was lost so very long ago, when the patriarchy first came into being. And as she so silently, sweetly and deeply remembers all from so very long ago, this woman who is healing her womb realises that this longing, this yearning, this remembering, this calling, is not a dream, a vision or a fragmented figment of her imagination, but a profound reality calling her from within the sacred depths of the womb's divine mystery, from the sacred portal of the universal womb.

Within a world that insidiously sexualises young girls through distorted media advertising of clothing, music and movies, the sacredness of the womb is denied. Within a world that cheapens and devalues the lunar power of a woman's menstrual cycle by calling her sacred bleeding time "The Curse" or "That time of the month", she is shamed, she is blamed for being woman. Within a world that mockingly calls the glorious beauty of her pregnant belly a "baby bump", the sacredness of her fertility is denigrated, made shallow, an excuse for another joke, for this world cheapens her sacredness whenever it has an opportunity to express its ignorance of the sacred feminine and to create financial profits for its own selfish gain.
This world denigrates her sacred womb mystery by preying upon her fears of ageing, by making billions of dollars through cunningly seducing her into a realm of doubt, of fear, of feeling not good enough, thin enough, beautiful enough, young enough, or simply "enough". And sadly, too many women, when they reach the powerful pinnacle of their menopausal years, cannot find their true place upon this Earth because they are too fearful, too exhausted, too afraid, too powerless to intimately and unashamedly embrace the wise womb power being offered by this transformational metamorphosis.

Within every woman's womb is the sacredness of her naturally sensual and passionate sexual cycles, the sacred fire of her orgasms, the rising and falling of her breath from deep within this sacred womb space, from deep within this sacred portal that unites her with the many Aeons of her sexual power.

Within every woman's womb is the sacredness of her innate simplicity in meditatively enjoying the daily tasks that connect her with the womb of the Earth, through an invisible harmonious thread that grounds her to the home and hearth and heart and land of her belonging. Her love of sewing, cooking, gathering, reaping, creating, crafting, harvesting, weaving, dancing, singing, repairing, mending, planting, being, arise from the tender heart of her womb's sacred mystery, as an integral thread woven amongst the tapestries of many female generations who have lived and loved upon this blessed Earth. And yet these simple sacred tasks are now being exploited, abused and replaced by mega factories, corrupt organisations, toxic life-destroying materials, the cruelty of child labour and the abuse of life's natural simplicity and the womb's inherent affinity with the Earth .

As she begins to heal her womb, she reveals unhealed pain, hidden deeply in places where integral honouring and welcoming melt the years and tears of sorrow held tightly within her muscles, her ligaments, her cells. She will find the tears of the girl child, of the maiden. She will find the unhealed patterns of her mother, her mother's mother, her mother's grandmother, of many female generations. She may find emotional wounds, sexual wounds, birthing wounds. She may find the wounds of  abortions or miscarriages. And as she looks within, she intimately heeds the wise and silent whisperings of her womb, her heart, her soul, her spirit, her strong and sensitive and wild and simple female power, she welcomes these wise and silent whisperings, she brings them to the surface for healing, she allows them to flow, and allows them to bestow her life and the lives of others with beauty, with joy, with wisdom, with peace.
